The eagle has landed, not it?

After much tinkering and tampering, I’m pleased as punch to announce that my new novel, Blown-Away Man, is finally available to download on Amazon. Click here to take a look.

I’m also thrilled that the lovely and hugely successful author Dorothy Koomson has given it such an enthusiastic thumbs-up. How nice is that?

Blown-Away Man is a step away from the previous books I’ve written. For a start I’ve written from a male protagonist’s point of view, rather than lots of different characters’ view points. There’s also a distinct lack of sizzling heat and tzatziki in this novel, with the story being set in Lincolnshire, London, Pembrokeshire and Brighton. Bizarrely, in my earlier drafts, I’d written a chapter set in Australia’s Northern Territories, and another chapter set in Ibiza. But they just weren’t working and didn’t make it to the final cut. This story just stubbornly refused to leave the UK. And I’m glad.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy it – and if you do, please leave a review on Amazon recommending it to others. My publisher (that’s me) and my publicist (also me) will be dead chuffed, as our advertising budget’s a bit thin on the ground.

Lastly, if you’re interested, here’s the Maxell Tapes ad that crops up in the story. Takes me right back…
